Internet users judge website in less than a blink

From ITnews : Interesting research showing how quickly you can win or lose your audience on the web. They do qualify the findings though by adding that basically there's no accounting for taste - personal preferences for what is a turn on or off is just that - a personal preference. So while designers need to consider how quickly a design can influence the user's experience, there's silver bullet to make it right everytime for everyone.

Ciao Dale,

I read that and it's really interesting.
I think is kind of similar when you do a search on google and with the eye you look for keywords, something that might be it !

It's amazing how the human brain works. Imagine though applying this same kind of analysis to mobile applications - how quickly will someone's experience be determined when they start an app on their phone? Maybe less time because there's a more concentrated display area? Don't know, but good to keep in mind.
