London Wrap-up

Should just blog quickly to wrap up the recent trip to London. Had a great time meeting a lot of new developers and instructors as part of the Flash Lite readiness event I was running at the Adobe UK office. Really hope to stay in touch with you guys and I'll be seeing some of you again very soon in Vegas for MAX (Paul, I'm going to come and watch a couple of hands of poker with you!). I had a chance on the day before I flew home to have a look aroud London and take in some of the sights. The biggest thing for me coming from such a "young" country was that there was just so much history everywhere. People talked about King someone from 1256 like it was just yesterday ... and the Roman ruins throughout the city just blew me away. Since we're only just over a couple of hundred years old, we don't have anything like this in Australia - in the way of European history that is ... there's Aboriginal history and remnants from 10's of thousands of years ago which is pretty special.

Anyway, thanks to everyone who made the trip happen and made it so enjoyable. Can't wait to go back :)
