Ooh Ahh Glen McGrath

OK, so I'm on my way to London. I get to Brisbane airport on Saturday morning and check-in, only to find that some of my long-time sporting heros are on the same plane. The entire Australian cricket team (one-day, not test teams) are on my flight, heading towards their warm-up tournament in Malaysia! Ponting, Clarke, Haydon, Martyn ... I even went through the metal detector with Georgie Hogg! For most of you this probably doesn't mean much, but here in Australia cricket is big, and we're coming up to a big test series where we play England over the summer! For cricket fans, this is like the holy grail of test cricket ... and I've got tickets to the Brisbane game ... and ... sorry, I digress ...

So I'm in the departure lounge and I see one of my favourite players in a duty-free shop - Glen McGrath - fast bowler, all time leading fast bowler wicket-taker, all-round legend. I plucked up the courage to ask him for a photo ... and the rest they say is history. What a way to start the trip :) Love your work Pigeon.
