The Human Nature of Console Gamers
I'm sure this report isn't indicative of all gamers out there, but man can these guys get worked up over a new console! The launch of the PS3 in the US has been met with everything from long lines, crooked politicians and gun fire. Just your average product launch at Wal*Mart ?! Read the report here

Crazy!
While I was in Singapore couple weeks back, I kept asking if any store owners had any PS3's ... 99.9% of them said no ... but, at one point, one of those Mom and Pop stores said, Yes.
Now, I'm not sure if they guy was bullshiting me or not, but I could have made $4000 easy (check ebay) ... IF in fact he was selling a legit console.
I think it was more likely just a communication problem and he thought I meant PS2, as the next store over ... the owner said he was in fact, "confused".
I guess I should have asked to see it in personal, and then actually boot it up, but he disappeared when I came back later to try to take him up on it ... hmmm.
I did pick up some cool gadgets (PMP's and a Nokia 5300) though ...
