My 5300 finally arrived
Finally, my Nokia 5300 arrived today ... sweet :) Since it's one of the first Flash Lite 2.0 phones out there I thought it was important to get one and try out some of our apps and screensavers on there. I don't actually think it runs as fast as my 6131 but it's still not too bad. The form and build of the handset itself is nice and it feels solid enough even with the slider out. Looking forward to showing it off over Christmas to all my gadget-addicted friends and relatives.

Ciao Dale,
I have too and it's a pretty cool device.
What Flash Lite content is installed?
Also check Miikka's post about this phone.

It was pretty dumb actually - it came with 3 Flash Lite screensavers that were simply SWF versions of static image screensavers also on the phone - no animation or anything so I'm not sure why they were even there. No games either. Have to talk to Nokia about that one :)
Ciao Dale,
same here about screensaver/wallpapers. But there is an introduction to the phone which is in Flash Lite. It should be in the memory card, collection folder.
I will post about it on the Forum Nokia blog!

You're right, there was the phone introduction movie thing. Still not a great collection of content for the first 2.0 phone on the market?!
I´ve been talking to some Nokia CEO guys in Brazil, and they were explaining me how "hard" is to setup pre-installed games on new devices coming to the market. They all blame the "bitch" logistic of the production line, but I just think it´s silly excuse. How many Nokia devices come with 3 or more embed Java games? I´m sure installing FL games would be easier and faster to install than the Java games, but someone should convince the guys sitting on a chair somewhere in Finland. :)
