Not everyone's happy with the iPhone
Well, at least not happy with the NAME. Seems Cisco are a little unhappy with Mr Jobs going ahead and announcing a product called "iPhone" while they were still in negotiatons over the use of the trademarked name - owned by Cisco.

I don't like it much either.
Just a Palm Treo with lesss expandability, less accuracy for typing and a bunch of nicer interface elements.
Don't see what all the fuss is about?
Anon-
I think the biggest fuss is that its a touchscreen interface with a UI that is not governed by physical buttons. If users complain that the Treo buttons are too small, you can't change them. Potentially, the Apple phone could with a software update.
Hopefully Apple does the smart thing and opens up development for the phone, even if its just widgets. It could be a huge market.
Actually its rather pompous of Apple to assume they can just walk in on a trademark of 6 years in the moments before a major product launch and assume that Cisco is just going to hand it over for a song.
If I were Cisco, I'd make Apple bleed for it... complete product rebranding and design! Screw the monies.
