cool stuff!
any news on when Chumbys will be available in Australia? I want a fury one with ears..
@Dale - cool. Will it run on the alpha Chumby which I have (F2.1 based)?
@Barry - they need to get all sorts of permits to ship since it is considered a broadcast device as it uses wireless. From Chumby "we can’t currently ship chumbys outside the U.S. (regulatory issues)". I am unsure if they need to get individual permits for countries/regions, or whether once that get a permit, it is applicable globally....
It *should* run on the alpha Chumby, although they're phasing out support for those. And yeah, don't hold your breath for an Aussie verison - if it's going to happen we'll hopefully be involved and will let you know.
